Description

The gate piers, located 40 meters northwest of Twinstead Hall, date from the late 18th century and are made of limestone. Each pier features cornices and plinths, topped with a stone neo-classical vase. On the southeast face of each pier, there is a plaque with a Latin inscription. Short lengths of iron railings with pineapple finials are positioned on either side of the piers. It is noted that these piers are said to have been resited. Twinstead Hall is not listed as a heritage site.
