Description
The Old Vicarage is a cottage with origins in the 17th century, which has been altered and extended at the east end in the 19th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered and topped with long straw thatch. A large red brick chimney stack is located towards the east end of the original 17th-century part, while a later internal stack is found at the west end. The building is one storey with an attic and includes two eyebrow dormers with small panes from the 19th century. On either side of the doorway, there are two three-light iron frame casements, also from the 19th century. The eastern part of the cottage has a slate roof and is two storeys high.
