Description

This is a barn dating from the 18th century, located to the west of Bacon's Farmhouse in Thriplow. The barn is constructed with a timber frame that is weatherboarded, featuring clay bat gable and rear aisle walls, and has brick foundations. The original thatched roof has been replaced with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn consists of three timber-framed bays and has a central double entrance facing east. It also features a double side purlin roof.
