Description

A pair of cottages dated to the late 17th or early 18th century, located on Church Street in Thriplow. They are timber-framed and now have a rendered finish with pargetting applied in the 20th century. The buildings sit on a plastered plinth and have a plain tiled roof, with a central stack rising from the ridge. The cottages are one storey high with an attic, each comprising two unit plans. They feature two boarded doors and three ground floor windows, one of which is a horizontal sliding sash window. There are two gabled dormer windows in the attic. Internally, the cottages have sealed hearths.
