Description

No. 47 Church Street is a cottage from the 18th century, with a later addition to the north. It is possibly constructed of clay batt and rendered, featuring a plastered plinth. The cottage has a thatched roof and a red brick gable to the south, which has a corbelled parapet that is now part of a 20th-century building. The structure is two storeys high, with the main entrance located to the left in a single-storey extension that has a 20th-century half-glazed door. There are two windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, which includes one horizontal sliding sash window.
