Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century cottage located on Church Street in Thriplow. It is likely built with clay bat plaster over brick foundations. The roof is pantiled, with a central ridge stack and a tall stack to the right. The main two-storey range is accompanied by a single-storey wing to the north and a lean-to addition to the south gable. The front features a central boarded door with vertical, moulded battens shaped to a two-centred head. There are two casement windows on the ground floor and two first-floor horizontal sliding sash windows with small panes.
