GV II

House, mid C17, with early C19 fenestration and extensions. Timber framed, plaster rendered with steeply pitched tiled roof and grey gault brick ridge stack and end stack. Single range plan of three bays. Three early C19 hung sashes of sixteen panes each at first floor, the heads of the windows flush with the eaves. Three similar windows at ground floor, and the doorway to centre bay. Reeded doorcase with jewelled boss enrichment. The back door is original early C17. Adjoining to left hand side is an early C19 local gault brick service outbuilding with tiled roof and at the rear and also adjoining a single storey outbuilding. Interior: There is a sealed inglenook hearth to a centre room with mantel carried on small caryatids. The lintel to the hearth has the same stop chamfer as the main beam.
