Description

Nos. 337 and 339 on High Street are cottages dating from the late 17th century. They feature timber framing with plaster rendering and have thatched roofs made of reed, along with a rebuilt ridge stack. The cottages have a single range of lobby entry and a three-bay plan, standing two storeys tall. The front includes three mid-20th century horizontal sliding sash windows with small panes, as well as three larger similar windows at ground level on either side of the doorway. The interior has not been seen. The gable ends are part weatherboarded and were restored in the mid-20th century.
