Description

A row of five cottages located in Haslingfield, likely dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. The cottages are timber-framed and rendered, with longstraw thatch and corrugated iron roofing. They have two axial grey gault brick ridge stacks and a third ridge stack, potentially incorporating earlier brickwork and a string course. The building follows a single-range plan, with each cottage originally containing two rooms at ground floor level, one of which featured a hearth. The cottages are one storey high with attics, and have four dormers. There are ten windows, including two horizontal sliding sashes, and five doors.
