Description
The game larder, located about 25 yards northeast of Wimpole Hall, is a Grade II listed building dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features pedimented ends with a slate roof and gault brick parapets on the sides. The structure is single-storey and consists of two bays, with rusticated corner pilasters and dividing bays. There is one window at the north end and two windows on the west side wall, each set under gauged brick round-headed arches, with glazing bars on the fixed lights. A lunette window is positioned above the north end window. Access is provided through an entry at the south end, which opens into the domestic courtyard. The building is currently used as a store.
