Description

Park Cottage is a mid-17th century cottage with alterations from the 19th century. It is timber-framed and has a roughcast rendered exterior, with some sections weather boarded. The roof is covered in pantiles and plain tiles, and features a red brick ridge stack. The cottage has a rectangular plan, originally with two units arranged in a lobby entry configuration. It has a boarded entrance door, two ground floor canted bay windows with casement windows, and two further casement windows to the ground floor, alongside three casement windows to the first floor. The interior includes sealed back-to-back hearths, and stop-chamfered ceiling beams with run-out stops.
