Description

Church Farm House is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It was originally a wing of a larger house, with the north wall rebuilt. The building dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and was extended in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and 19th-century brick, with plain tiled roofs. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring the original building with an extension to the east and two stacks.

The west elevation showcases parapet gables and a wooden dentil eaves cornice, with redder brick details around the window openings, which have gauged brick arches. On the ground floor, there are two garden casement windows, along with a single light window to the left, similar to the first-floor window. The first floor has two four-paned hung sash windows. There are also two gabled dormer windows, each adorned with panelled wooden side pilasters and a moulded cornice.

Inside, some of the doors are six-fielded-panelled oak with brass locks and fielded panelling. There is a staircase leading to the attic, featuring flat balusters. The room to the north is said to have been a gun room. The garden wall has stone coping and brick piers with moulded stone caps at the entrance west of the house.
