Description
The building is a cottage that has been converted into a house and shop, dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame with a rendered exterior and a steeply pitched roof, which is now covered with slates. A ridge stack made of red brick is present. The building has a three-bay plan, with the end facing the road. There is a modern oriel window above the shop front, and the east wall includes two windows on the first floor and two windows along with a door on the ground floor, all of which are from the late 20th century. The plinth has been rebuilt and the ground floor has been lowered, but the ceiling, wall frame, and roof from the 17th century remain intact inside.
