Description

No. 30 Whitecroft Road is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, plaster rendered exterior, and has a half-hipped long straw thatch roof featuring a red brick ridge stack, which has been partially rebuilt in grey brick. The cottage has a lobby entry and a two-bay plan, with a narrow pantry bay at one end. It is one storey high with an attic and includes two dormers. On either side of the doorway, there are two 20th-century small pane casements, which are now situated within a 20th-century porch that has a pantiled roof.
