Description

A late 18th-century cottage, now divided into two dwellings, located on the north-west side of Chiswick End in Meldreth. The building is timber-framed with a modern rendered exterior and a steeply pitched slate roof. It features a grey brick axial ridge stack and an end stack. The two storeys contain three casement windows, their heads flush with the eaves. Number 12 has a boarded door and an adjacent casement window, while number 14 also has a 19th-century boarded door and one casement window. The interior of number 12 was only partially inspected, but it revealed concealed framing and a slender main beam.
