Description

Chiswick Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 17th century and was remodeled in the early 20th century. It features a timber frame with applied sham framing and roughcast render on the front walls. The roof is made of molded tiles from the early 20th century, replacing the original thatch, and there are red brick stacks from the same period. The original L-shaped layout is preserved, with a kitchen range in the rear wing and a 17th-century gabled staircase turret and entry located at the angle between the crosswing and the main range. The house has two storeys, and the early 20th-century facade includes two casement windows on the first floor of the hall range and one casement window on each storey of the crosswing.
