Description
Hillview is a cottage that likely dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, roughcast render, and a long straw thatched roof, featuring original red and yellow brickwork at the ridge stack and a later end stack. The building has a single range lobby entry and a three-bay plan, with its gable end facing the road. It stands two storeys high and has three casement windows. The doorway is located opposite the stack. The property also includes an outbuilding that was formerly a smithy.
