Description

Hillside Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1630, with an extension added in the 18th century. It is timber-framed and has a roughcast render, topped with a steeply pitched tiled roof that has two levels and features an axial ridge stack made of red brick. The building consists of a single range and likely follows a three-bay lobby entry plan. It has two storeys, with three 20th-century casement windows and one small opening for a closet, which also has a 20th-century window. The lobby entry doorway, along with another doorway to the right, is likely a later addition. The east end bay was added in the 18th century and includes No. 1 Church Street.
