Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is an 18th-century cottage, with additions in the 20th century. Originally listed as No. 41 (Orchard Cottage). It is timber-framed, with rendered walls and a long straw thatched roof, half-hipped to gable ends. The cottage has an L-shaped plan, with a wing extending from the main range. It is a single storey with an attic. The front wall has three 20th-century casement windows, and a doorway is located within a thatched porch that sits between the main range and the crosswing. A modern wing has been added to the west end of the building.
