Description
Flowers Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century, with a mid-20th century wing added to the right. The west wing is timber-framed and plastered, featuring a half-hipped thatched roof and a brick ridge stack at the rear. It has two eyebrow dormers on the west side. The building is 1½ storeys tall, with a single window on the ground floor of the end of the wing and another window above. The west return front has two windows on the ground floor. The eastern wing was rebuilt after a fire in the mid-20th century; it is also plastered and has a thatched roof, standing at 1½ storeys with irregular window placement and a mid-20th century panelled door to the left.
Inside, the west wing retains its timber-frame structure, which is mostly intact, and features a large inglenook fireplace.
