Description

The Shrubberies is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th or early 19th century. It features painted brick that may cover a timber frame and has a slated roof with a central ridge stack. The house is two storeys high and has a central closed gabled porch located at the lobby entry. This porch includes a panelled door and a rectangular fanlight, along with a barge board and an apex finial. The building has a plain brick parapet and cambered brick arches over two sixteen-paned living sash windows on both the ground and first floors.
