Description

Old Mill House is a house that likely dates from the 17th century, with early 19th-century and later alterations and extensions. It is timber-framed, roughly rendered, and partly built on a brick base. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features a red brick stack. The building has two storeys and a four-bay frame, with a central lobby entry. There is a projecting gabled porch that includes a plank door. The windows consist of 16 and 24-pane sashes set in flush wood architraves, and there are French windows on the left side. The roof is hipped to the left, and there is a central ridge stack. Inside, the framing is exposed, showcasing chamfered jowled posts and a section of close studding.
