Description

The hay barn, located to the north of Mowbray's farmyard, dates from the 19th century. It is timber-framed with boarded panels and features a corrugated iron roof. The barn has two aisles and two bays, with gable entrances that do not have doors. The aisle posts are supported on timber pads and brick piers, while the main structural timber is braced to the middle rails. The aisle on the right side is boarded and has separate entrances facing north.
