Description

The Village Lock Up is an 18th-century structure that underwent early 19th-century rebuilding. It is constructed from red brick and 19th-century gault brick. The building is single storey with a rectangular plan and features a tunnel vaulted roof. The south-east side has a boarded door secured with an iron lock-bar and a double grill. There are side steps leading to the former village pump.
