Description

Burr Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with a 19th-century addition and alterations. It is timber-framed, featuring roughcast render and clay bat paint. The roof is thatched on one side and red pantiled on the other. There is a red brick end stack on the left side, which is partly plastered, and a painted brick plinth. The main range is two storeys high, with a single-storey gable extension to the left. The cottage has one casement window on the first floor and two casement windows along with one four-paned hung sash window on the ground floor. There are also two boarded doors.
