Description

Mossbury Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse, possibly with earlier origins, and was altered in the 19th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, with plain tiled roofs. A painted brick plinth is visible on the exterior. The farmhouse is two storeys high and includes a cross wing to the north-east, featuring a boxed jetty one bay back. A side stack has a rebuilt upper stage. A 19th-century panelled door is present, along with a projecting cornice. The windows consist of two ground-floor and two first-floor transomed casement windows. Inside, the interior retains exposed stop-chamfered ceiling beams, exposed studwork, and a tie beam with curved braces.
