Description

Albany House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is possibly timber-framed but is now encased in 19th-century brick and painted. The roof is plain tiled, and there are rebuilt stacks on both the right and left sides, which are rectangular in shape. The house has two storeys and features steps leading to the main entrance, which is located to the left of centre. The entrance includes an 18th-century six-panelled door with a moulded architrave, although this is slightly obscured by the brick casing. There are two three-light casement windows on the ground floor and two on the first floor, all of which have segmental arches on the ground floor.
