Description

The Crown Public House is a public house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with slated roofs. At the rear of the ridge, there are two gault brick stacks. The building stands two storeys high and features two separate ranges that are linked to form an L-shape, with similar window arrangements on both sections. The main range has a central flush-panelled door that is sheltered by a flat canopy supported by shaped brackets. On the ground floor, there are two flush-framed sixteen-paned hung sash windows, and on the first floor, there are three similar windows.
