Description

The building is a barn located to the west of Brooklands Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century or earlier. It consists of two barns that share a common internal wall. The structure is timber-framed and weatherboarded, featuring a red brick plinth and a corrugated iron roof that has replaced the original thatch. The northern barn has four bays and includes an inserted cart entry, a single door on the left side, and a pitching door. The southern barn has three bays, is single-aisled, and contains a cross entry and a thrashing floor.
