Description

Old Barn Farmhouse is a mid-18th century red brick farmhouse that includes one bay to the south of an earlier 17th century timber-framed building. It has a three-unit plan and is two storeys high. The farmhouse features a 19th century slate roof with paired brackets at the eaves cornice. There is a ridge stack and an end stack to the west, each with three diagonal shafts. On the first floor, there are four recessed hung sash windows with glazing bars and three larger but similar windows. The entrance has a panelled door in a wooden frame. This building is included for its group value with the adjacent early 17th century barn.
