Description

Rectory Farmhouse is a mid-17th century farmhouse, with later 18th and 19th century alterations. It was probably originally timber-framed and is now rendered over red brick, with a deep rubble plinth. The roof is covered in plain tiles, and there is a red brick stack on the right gable. The farmhouse is two storeys plus a garret, and has three bays. The central doorway has a part-glazed door and a segmental arch above. To either side are single 20th century tripartite casement windows. Above, there are three 20th century glazing bar casements. Inside, there are two chamfered beams and remnants of a single post. The building is included on the list only for its group value.
