Description
The Crown and Cushion is a building originally constructed in the 17th century as a three-unit plan farmhouse and beer house. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with one storey and an attic, topped by a thatched roof. Attached to the south is a two-storey wing added in the mid-19th century, which has a slate roof and roughcast render over brick walls. There is an end stack to the east and a late 17th-century red brick ridge stack. The west elevation displays three modern casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor and two on the ground floor.
