Description
No. 14 Buckden Road is a house, now used as offices, that dates back to 1726, as indicated by two small plaques on the front wall. The building is constructed of red brick with gault brick details. It features a steeply pitched plain tile roof, low parapets, and gault brick tumbling at the gable ends, along with an end stack. There is a gault brick band between the two storeys. The symmetrical front elevation includes three early 19th-century flush frame hung sashes with glazing bars and moulded architraves. The central doorway is topped with a flat hood supported by scroll brackets. At the rear, there is an adjoining range made of gault brick and tiles, which is one storey high with attics.
