Description

Pentargen is a 17th century cottage located in Kimbolton, Carnaby. It features a timber frame with roughcast rendering and consists of two bays plus a firebay. The cottage has a steeply pitched, plain tiled roof with a red brick ridge stack and is one storey high with an attic. There are two later gabled dormers and two modern casement windows on either side of the entrance opposite the stack, along with a modern gabled canopy. To the east, there is an adjoining late 17th century dairy bay, which is also timber-framed and rendered, with a plain tiled roof and one modern three-light casement window. Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace in one of the ground floor rooms.
