Description

Lansbury Farmhouse is a circa 1800 farmhouse. It is constructed of gault brick with a hipped slate roof and boarded eaves. The building is two storeys high and presents a symmetrical facade. The front elevation features three flush, wood frame hung sashes with glazing bars. A flat doorhood supported on scroll brackets shelters a round-headed central doorway, which has a four-panel door and a fanlight with radial glazing bars. The interior retains original early 19th century details in the pantry and cellar, including a closed string staircase with square balusters and turned newels.
