Description

The barn, located to the north of Moor Farmhouse, was built around 1844, shortly after the Enclosure of 1843. It is constructed from local red brick and features a slate roof. The barn has two double entries that face the yard, each with elliptical arches. There are geometric patterned ventilation holes present as well. Inside, the barn contains two threshing floors and a side purlin roof supported by Queen struts, spanning six bays with tie beams that rest on brick buttresses.
