Description

Elm Cottage is a cottage that possibly dates back to the late 16th century. It features a timber-framed structure, with the main hall range encased in 18th-century red brick, and a cross-wing to the northeast that is plastered. The cottage has thatched roofs and a red brick ridge stack. It is one storey high with an attic. The main range includes a casement window, a dormer window, and a similar window to the left of the door, all with rubbed brick arches above them. There is an open porch with a plain tiled, gabled roof. The gable of the cross-wing has two casement windows.
