Description
Moor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1844, following the Enclosure of 1843. It is constructed from gault brick and features a hipped slate roof with deep boarded eaves, along with two stacks that have polygonal shafts. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade. It is adorned with two giant pilasters that are set back from the quoins and have moulded stone caps. There is a brick plinth and a band at the first floor level. The farmhouse has three windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all of which are hung sashes with glazing bars. The central windows above the door are located in a recessed brick arch that has a stone key block. The doorway features a half-glazed door and a recessed arch with a round head and a fanlight.
