Description
College Farmhouse is a mid-17th century farmhouse situated on a moated site. Originally comprising two bays with a lobby entry plan, it features an adjoining kitchen range to the east, likely of the 17th century, although possibly earlier. The farmhouse is timber framed and has plaster rendering, with a thatched, half-hipped roof at two levels. One original red brick stack remains, alongside one that has been rebuilt. The main range is two storeys high, with two casements on each floor. The main entrance is positioned opposite the stack. The kitchen range is single storey with attics and includes two, three-light casements and one doorway. A map from the Huntingdon Record Office dates to 1659.
