Description

The Getty is a cottage dating from the mid 17th century, with a 20th-century wing added. It has a gable end facing the road and was originally designed with a three-bay plan, though the eastern bay has been removed. The structure is timber framed, roughcast, and cement rendered, topped with a thatched roof and a ridge stack. The cottage is one storey high with attics, featuring two dormers and two windows fitted with 20th-century casements. The entrance is located in the 20th-century wing. Inside, the wall and floor framing is visible. The building is also noted on a map from the Huntingdon Record Office dated 1659.
