Description

No. 16 High Haden Road is a cottage that was formerly two cottages, dating from the late 18th century with some alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed of painted red brick and features a Collyweston stone slated roof with parapet gables, along with end stacks and a central ridge stack. The building is one storey and has an attic, arranged in a four-unit plan. There is a boarded door on the right side and a garden casement window on the left, with other casement windows of various sizes. The cottage has four gabled dormer windows, each with casements. The interior has not been seen. The estate map from 1770 by John Hausted shows Glatton, Holme, and Denton.
