Description

This is an 18th-century milestone located approximately 10 metres to the west of The Cottage on Thrapston Road in Bythorn and Keyston. It is made of limestone and features a bull nose head, set diagonally to the road. The milestone is inscribed with the distances to Thrapston (5 miles) and Huntingdon (12 miles), with the text painted white and the lettering in black.
