Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on West Street. It is a single storey with attics, and is constructed with a timber frame covered in roughcast rendering. The roof is thatched, and it features end stacks. A gabled dormer window is visible. The front has two casement windows and a door with four fielded panels and two flush panels, all set within segmental arches. The cottage is notable as the only surviving building from a fire in 1864 that destroyed this part of the town.
