Description

Cemetery Cottage is a two-storey building dating from around 1881, contemporary with the nearby chapel. It is constructed of limestone and features slated gable roofs adorned with red, patterned ridge tiles. The cottage has an L-shaped plan with an entrance porch positioned at the angle facing west. The gables are highlighted by corbelled parapets, and there is a large iron finial at the junction of the wings. Each elevation has paired lancet windows at both floor levels, set within stone arches that have labels. The entrance features a boarded door with patterned iron hinges, set in a two-centred stone arch, and the building stands on a stone plinth.
