Description

The Cottage is a two-storey, L-shaped ornamental cottage dating from the 18th century. It features rubble facings with freestone dressings and slate roofs adorned with bargeboards and finials. The cottage has a small cross gable on the advanced central bay and stone stacks with tall diagonal brick stems. The front has three two-light Tudor windows, while the rear has a three-light window, all under rectangular dripmoulds with cruciform mullions and small-pane glazing. There is a pitched roof over a solid porch, which has a triangular head above the doorway; the window above the door has been altered.
