Description
The Methodist Chapel, built on June 5, 1888, features red brick construction with terracotta brick bands and decorative elements, along with limestone copings and a slate roof. The chapel has a gable facing the street and a symmetrical design that includes two slightly advanced round-arched entrances, which are approached by stone steps and have boarded doors. There are three round-arched leaded-light windows that are connected by a moulded brick label. Additionally, two large two-centred arched windows, also linked by a label, provide light to the gallery floor, with a round window positioned above. The exterior is supported by brick buttresses, and the gable is adorned with finials at the quoins and an apex finial. The interior retains its contemporary details and the building is included for its group value.
