Description

The Baptist Chapel, built in 1872, is a red brick structure featuring rusticated stone around the central doorways, along with stone and blue brick decorations. The facade is symmetrical and gabled, consisting of two storeys. The central section projects forward and includes a four-light window with plate tracery, flanked by single lights. Below, there are paired round-arched doorways with keystones, with similar lights on either side. All windows retain their original iron tracery, and there is a lettered band above the door. The chapel is part of a group with Nos. 36 and 38.
