Description
The White Lion Public House is a late 18th century to early 19th century building located on Nottingham Street. It features a slate roof with a central chimney and stands three storeys tall. The facade includes three windows that have segmental arched moulded architraves and boxed frames. On the ground floor, there is a cornice above the 19th century public house facade, which has segmental arched windows with keystones and flanking doorways. The door on the north side is adorned with an architrave, keystone, and pilasters with Ionic capitals, while the south side features a carriageway arch with double doors. The White Lion Public House is part of a group that includes Nos 10 to 18 (even) and Nos 37 and 37A.
