Description
Nos 11, 11A, 13, and 15 Nottingham Street are buildings dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They feature a painted brick facade with a brick eaves cornice and have end and off-centre chimneys. The buildings rise three storeys and generally have three early 19th century casement windows with cambered head linings. The centre window on the first floor has a small 19th century oriel with a slate roof and late 19th century glazing. On the ground floor, there are two shop fronts from the mid to late 19th century. The southern shop front includes pilasters and a cornice, with a window that has a moulded frame. The northern shop front features a window with round arched lights and a transom, along with a double door set in a glazed panel topped with an outer cornice and flanked by outer pilasters. Nos 11, 11A, and 13 to 21 (odd) are part of a group, while Nos 17 to 21 (odd) are buildings of local interest.
