Description

No. 4 High Street is a late 18th-century building featuring roughcast rendering on its facade, an eaves cornice, and a slate roof. The structure stands three storeys tall and has five windows, which are mostly sash windows with glazing bars, although there is one modern casement window on the first floor to the east. The ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 4, 6, and 8 (The George Hotel), Nos. 10 and 12, as well as Nos. 5, 9 to 21 odd, Nos. 11A, the Coach House at No. 19, and No. 1 Wilton Place.
